Do chameleons yawn?

I was watching my veiled. He puffed up his chin, bulked up his body and open his mouth shaked a tiny bit and then closed his mouth and did it again. He slimmed down his body and "un-puffed" his chin then went to go get some water. This whole thing was in a span of about 15 seconds. Is this normal?

Note: I observed his mouth and tongue they looked normal as they were a pink and had no strings of saliva. He had no puss or anything in his mouth. (He still hasnt gone to the bathroom"

Is this normal? HELP

Yes, this is a normal behavior. My male panther does this every morning. I don't know if he is actually yawning or just sort of stretching. It seems to me like the chameleon version of the morning stretch I do when I first wake up in the morning and before I get out of bed.

Most will do it first thing in the morning as soon as they decide to eat. My panthers pretty much do it every time before starting to eat. Jaw alignment. It tells me right away they are going to eat. If some don't do it, then there is no need for me to open door and feed. I know right away they aren't hungry.
