Do chameleons get used to their sleep schedule?

I've noticed that my chameleon usually goes asleep at 7:30 pm and gets up at 8am. I just want to know if a chameleon memorizes their sleep schedule.

When are the lights going on and off and is there a lot of light through windows in the room when it's daytime?

His lights turn off at 7:30pm and on 8 am. I always turn the room lights off and close the curtains all the way.
