DIY rock background

I would like to make a diy rock wall background, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of spray paint would be safe..I want to use the stone texture spray paint.Is that safe? and what would I seal it with that is safe and waterproof? Thanks in advance!!

You want paint that is completely waterproof and probably a type that is safe for baby furniture. It should be inert and non-toxic once cured. And, wait until the paint has completely cured before using it.

I used the stone textured spray paint and then sealed it with Olympic multi-surface sealant made for sealing wood, brick, stone, grout, etc. It's 100% acrylic and 100% water proof and so far it's holding up great.
