I think as long as hes not on the bottom of the cage he's just being shy. My guy stays in the top right corner next to the lights and windows even though he has a 2 1/2 X 4 X 6 and a large ficus tree, hes almost always on the bamboo instead.

Yours looks sturdier then mine, good job :)

very nice cage, but as far as shelf life....not too long. I cant tell if your wood is protected or not, but withthe amount of water we use, you may notice the wood soak up water and start to mold and stink.

Looks fine from here, I assume he is just getting settled in. This is totally normal - in fact a few extra leaves, vines and branches might help him feel at home and maybe make it more worth his while to explore and be a bit active. It looks like those branches are good as a base, but some smaller ones that he can fit his tiny feet round (that you can take out when he gets bigger) would be nice too :)

Thanks everyone for the input=))
And I will be adding more, I have some pothos chutes growing and some vines to put in there.
As for the cage, it is pretty sturdy but I was wondering what type of sealent to use??
