I'm so sorry Brad....Wild caught reptiles of any variety pose a special challenge. Gravid females bring that challenge to a much higher level. Gravid female imports succumb to the process quite frequently no matter how excellent the care they were given was. She probably would have not survived the process in nature either. Will keep my fingers crossed for her offspring though. Best wishes for your male too

I am quite optimistic that something good will come of this.
I am so proud of her for managing to deposit her eggs before she died.
Mike called me this morning to talk about how much it sucked that we lost her and ask about the condition of the eggs.
He is an awesome friend to have in this hobby and a really great guy.
Speaking of friends in the hobby ... look at this thread!
Without the forums I would have no one to really talk to about this passion of mine, let alone a stream of sympathy messages when I lose a chameleon.
We are so lucky to have this place where our global community can meet!
