Hi, I have a lady chameleon, she is 6 months old.

She got Metabolic Bone Disease when she was 3 months old.

And now she got two bad forelegs, but still can move.

She laid some infertile eggs 4 days before.

She couldn't dig the soil with the forelegs, so she laid the egg on the ground.

I want to recover her energy, but she refues to eat.

People always said that we need to feed more food to the Female Chameleon who just laid the eggs.

What should I do ? I really need your help,

Waiting for your reply.

Thank you .

Hi!

Is it possible to get her to a vet? A vet could give her a calcium injection.

Do you have access to phoenix worms (also called Calci-worms or Repti-worms or Black Soldier Fly Larvae)?

They are extremely high in calcium and some chameleons find them impossible to resist.

With her having mbd a short while ago. It would be a great idea as stated above to take her to the vet for a calcium shot.

If she laid her eggs yesterday she may go off of food for a short period..

Just a little something i do. Normally i put the females in for a shower treatment after a lay. rinses all the dirt off them and if they are willing a good drink session.
