hey for a chams live plants do i NEED to put organic soil??? or can i just cover it with huge rocks because im building rexs adult cage and its almost done but just wandering if i need to buy some organic dirt

its recomended just incase he will ingest it and get the fertalizers in his system. id get the organic and cover it with rocks anyways.

"Solid opinion"? Don't you think that's kind of a paradox? Opinions are what people recommend, and would do themselves, there is not a "right" or "wrong" way to do it, but I think the general consensus is that organic soil should be used in case of accidental ingestion. It is not hard to come by, and it's you're better off safe rather than sorry.

Use organic soil and place large river rocks (bigger than your cham can swallow) on top of the soil.
