So I have a baby nosy be who will be four months on the 19th of this month!
I recently bought a new plant for him to play in and
For some reason he loves eating the dirty that the plant is in!!!
Should I remove this plant, he is gonna die if he continues to eat that stuff???
Is it a sign of something else?? I really need some advise please:eek:

Usually when they eat dirt it's a sign they are craving a mineral. Cover the dirt with large river rocks that he cannot swallow or get in his mouth. What kind of plant is it?

Really so what would you reccomand that I buy? It's a Hibiscus plant, thanks for responding by the way! :D

Hello. I would do as KarmaChameleon1337 mentioned. You need to cover the dirt. Large rocks, screen or any other safe product to keep him out of the dirt. I have read lots of threads that they will do this and that is why you aren't suppose to use substrate and cover all soil in plants. Also make sure it is organic, chemical free. If you could post your feeding and supplementing. Let some of the more experienced members review to make sure it's nutrition looks good. I'll post a link that may help also.

(Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?)
