Digital aquarium thermometer

Hey all.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I have a digital aquarium thermometer. . .

But there is an IN temperature and an OUT temperature and I dont really know what that means?
If the IN means the water or temperature of the vermiculite then right now that would be at 25.1 C and the OUT which would then mean the room temperature is now at 30.5 C! And its not 30.5 C in my room 7:30pm!
I have a veiled clutch which I would digging up now so please I need to know urgently so I dont screw up the temps.

Yeah its the same one. But maybe that is why I lost some of the hatchlings and eggs in the end.
