Hi everyone.
Well I went away for a day and came back to empty holes :(

She started digging again yesterday at around 5pm and she is still in the hole this morning at 9am.
Any clue if this is safe and normal??
Any advice would be great.
Thank

did she stay in ther hole over night?
my female yemen always stay in her tunnel the night before she lays her clutch.
good luck

Yes she stayed in over night, that is why I am a little worried.
But if this is normal I feel a lot better.

Generally chameleons will pick the best available spot to lay their eggs in the wild. In captivity we try to give them what we think they want but it isnt. This is mosty normal (considering that you have given appropriate calcium supplements and she was feed with nutritious stuff) and she will evnetually lay. Hope this helps

She's gets her supplements on every meal she get's which is once a day.
My males don't. My females do.

Here worms are gut loaded, with, veggies, and fruit.
And her crickets are gut loaded with veggies.

She is still digging holes. It's been a week of digging now. So hopefully soon!!

my female veiled started digging at 3 p.m. and finished at 4 p.m. the next day, about 25 hours it took her to lay 30 eggs she also had several test tunnels to.:)
