ive kept a male sternfeldi before and he had a great yellow shade to his side like most sternfeldi. But can anyone tell me how this male here has such great color? was it a color from the parents genes? a genetic morph? i dont understand, please help!
Thanks!
Its called intraspecific variation. Different individuals of the same species can show a variety of colors and patterns within a certain range. This animal is in full display and simply has high color compared to other individuals.
