Diet

Hornworms, butterworms, silkworms, reptiworoms (phoenix worms), dubia roaches, crickets. Those are all really good. Hornworms and silkworms have a certain food they eat. Butterworms stay in the fridge. Dubia and crickets need gutloaded. All should be dusted with the correct supplements. Reptiworms just stay in the cup and are good for two weeks.

!IMO!

Idealy 3 "staple" feeders should make up the core.
Example:
33% Dubia
33% Cricket
33% Silkworm

A staple feeder should be healthy.
Superworms, waxworms, mealworms ect. should not be staples.
Just treats(once a week at most).

The more variety the better.
I feed flies, moths, mantids, grasshoppers, that I find in the wild.

Gutloading is the important thing.
Sandrachameleons blog(on this site) on gutloading is very informative, and useful. I would recomend staring at it for as long as possible.;)

Chamtini and Solid Snake have made great points. Just to add a couple details:

- Superworms must also be gutloaded. They can live in a bedding that provides both cover as well as food, and the Sandra blogs that Solid linked to will help you with that as well. They are great, they live for close to a year and require minimal effort to keep, so I always have them on stock.

- In regards to catching WC bugs, keep in mind that you don't want them to be poisonous (duh! lol A bug field guide will help with this) and that they can't be collected from any area that you suspect may be treated with pesticides. So you're usually better off going out of town into the woods or something like that.
