Is the browning around eyes and crest normal?

looks normal to me. adult chameleons tend to have dark coloured ridge lines on their head. he's just growing up.

Okay maybe I was freaking out. When he was sleeping it looked almost black. When I checked him this morning it wasn’t as dark.
