Desert chams??

I was watching a documentary on reptiles and I'm very intreuged by these desert chams they don't live in trees?! And the maiting ritual Is violent im very intreuged please tell me more! Can they be kept?? They look very cool

I'm really interested in them its so cool how something completely evolved for tree life has adapted to live on the sandy dunes of the desert

They are Namaqua Chameleons (Chamaeleo namaquensis). They are present in the trade in Europe, but not in the US legally.

From what I know most chameleon mating rituals are relatively violent. And the desert chameleons mentioned may be available in certain places in the pet trade but I thought they were relatively hard to keep and especially breed in captivity?
