Dehydration

My male veiled chameleon had been looken a lil dehydrated the past few days because his eyes were a lil sunken. Not to bad though, and his stool looked perfectly fine. But this morning I had to wake up and go to a driving class like around 7 and I usually dont turn his lights on till 9 and feed him and get his day started. After my classes were over, my mom decided to Freaken tote me around until 1 pm. When I got back I turned his lights on, fed him a super worm and some crickets. After an hour or so he took a dump and Thats what it looked like. I gave him a shower method the other day when I noticed the sunken eyes. I am giving him one right now. What else can I do to rehydrate him. His grip wasnt all to great either, i'm feelen pretty bad right about now. What am I supposed to mix with water and drip on his nose to potentially help rehydrate him.

And the othrr day when I first noticed the sunken eyes I set up a humidifier next to his cage as well. It obviously hasnt helped all to much. I mist his cage heavily 4-5 times a day with bottled spring water.

And I also realize I should lower his basking temp as well, its way to freaken high. What wattage and what kind of bulb should i replace his basking bulb with?

Your Chameleon- Male/"Leon"
Age- 6 Months
Handling- Every other day.
Feeding- 6-8 crickets a day in 3-5 intervals, meal worms, super worms, and wax worms in between cricket servings.
Supplements- calcium powder daily. Ca+d3/multi vitamins twice month
Watering- Dripper system, spray cage thoroughly 4-5 times a day. Humidity level is at around 60-70%

History- Bought him from a local E & L Pet Store
Cage Info:
Cage Type- Small Zoo Med Reptibreeze open air screen
Lighting- UVA 75 watt / UVB 5.0 26 watt (not the tube)
Temperature- Basking spot - 91 degrees / Rest - 74-84
Humidity- have humidifier set up and the % is 60-70%
Plants- All fake vines, and some sticks. No real plants, im worken on getting a live plant when I get his bigger cage in a few weeks
Placement- On my desk, not near any windows but there is an air vent blowing above one of my windows, but it doesnt blow into his cage at all.

You might want to consider getting a timer for your lights, that way you won't have to worry about them. I think you can get one for under $10. I would make sure that the dripper is running for at least 4 hours a day.

You definitely want to get him into a bigger cage sooner rather than later. And, real plants are your friend!

Yah i bought a timer the other day, i even posted a thread asking how to get it to work : / had to get my step dad to get it worken right lol. Idk the one i got was weird but its worken now I usually leave the dripper running most of the day. and what plant do you recomend? I'm not to sure on what I wana get.

I'm only working on the info in this thread so you can't expect me to know what you've posted elsewhere.

I am the biggest fan of pothos plants. I love them. You can pin the vines to the sides of the cage and create a very natural climbing environment.
