He looks quite healthy to me. When they are dehydrated you can notice his eyes go deep within the socket, the veil also sinks in a little.

He looks about 3 months. Usually at that stage bones are more prominent. Chameleons have thin skin and thinner bones

No, his eyes look fine. The orbits are nice and full. At this age they are growing fast so they can look a bit lean (the gangly teenager look).
