i think i have decided to get some carpets my only concern is that with this vegas temp will they be ok at a higher temp?

in the summer my house sits at 79 and with the bulb will reach 82 at the hottest is this too hot for carpets i read yes and i read no humidity isnt a problem

anybody keep there at this temp or is this cooking them and i should look into a diff species?

I am not sure about carpets but my quads never go above 78 without me in a panic.

idk anyhting about quads :( cool species i really like this species and would love to get them but dont want to get them if i cook them to death

I keep carpets and I keep them in the basement where it is a little cooler and higher humidity.

Talk to Chad and Darci of Tiki Tiki Reptiles (Vegas Chad/Vegas Darci). They are located in Vegas and have done very well with raising and breeding carpet chams and could have some very good tips on keeping them in that Vegas heat (she said green with envy....).
