Decent Alternative for Live Bugs

Obviously chameleons need live feeders to have good health. Understandable that some people do not want to have live bugs wandering (escaping from cage) around there house/making noise at night. What I have done is built a small cage with very fine nylon screen to strictly keep outside. Procedures would just to bring the chameleon out during the day to get natrual UVB and hunt some live food for good health. If bugs get out they will be outside which helps not having them around your house. A few friends asked for a post like this so its mainly for them but if you get anything out of it or have any ideas comment below

If you are in warm weather states, it would work to cage them and feed them outside always.

If you are in the northern states, taking a cham into cold temperatures probably wouldn't work.

Keep thinking outside the box!
