I just got a pair of wc panthers and would like to know what could be used as a de worming medication, I know panacure is used, but is there any over the counter Meds.

truthfully i would just look up a really good vet..if they are fine and not too stressed out, they will be ok for awhile till you find one that offers good knowledge on trustable medications to kill exotic parasitic infections..also check a poo, lol, and look at it under a scope, see how much it moves..if its bad react fast..if its nominal(i say that cause all wc are really bad) just do your thing to find a great solution (not a fast decision, usually bad, look up the best ask them questions...) best of luck!!!!
Treating them with just any anti-parasite medication is a shot in the dark...each medication will only treat certain parasites...so without doing a fecal (or two) to determine what parasite(s) your chameleon has you may be missing ones he has and treating ones that aren't even there.

But I'd like to add that you should wait until your chams are better adjusted - right now they are probably dehydrated, most likely somewhat malnourished, and stressed like you wouldn't believe from being moved around so much, especially if they were imported very recently. Deworming them now could put too much stress on their bodies as the worms die off and their gut has to readjust to the lightened burden that sometimes it is actually detrimental to their health at this stage.
If you want to deworm then do it right: take in a fecal sample to be analyzed by a qualified vet so you are treating with the appropriate medications the first time and not wasting your money or doing your chameleon a disservice.

they are LTC I wanted to make sure they dident get some of the other chams sick, the reason I asked was because the male pooped and it really smelled! I think i will take him to a vet.

I take both chams fecals in and have them checkd before I took the chams. You can try Rept-Aid. Chams Northwest sells it and so does LLL Reptile Supply. Its proven to be an effective treatment. I'd still take the fecals in to know what types of parsites I was dealing with. Even if you do decide to go with traditional meds you can use the reptaid to help the chams replace necessary gut flora that is destroyed by deworming meds. If you do dose with panacur or anything else make sure those chams stay well hydrated. Meds can destroy kidneys in a dehydrated animal

My vet told me that there is no need to worm your Chameleons. Check the stool for parasites first. He said that more harm can be done by deworming. He told me that captive raised Chameleons hardly ever get worms.
