daylight bulb

my daylight bulb just pop and i was told that it is ok for me to use a regular house bulb. can someone teach me more about it and what kind i can get?

regular house bulb. not the spiral cfl ones.

i use a 100 watt, but you need to play with it and see what wttage you need to get your required temps.

doesnt provide enough heat in my opinion.

No. we all use them..
I only use housebulbs, they are soo much cheaper.

How about the broad spectrum bulbs? I have a 75 watt one that I want to try, as I bought some 100watt bulbs but they seemed to make Mulberry too hot, as he was very grouchy and had his mouth open for awhile until I removed it. I currently have a 60watt Flukers daylight bulb.

I just moved him to a bigger cage and want to provide 2 lights.
