Daylight Blue Reptile bulb busted,alternatives?

My daylight blue bulb busted randomly, I just recently got it. Any other bulb I can use? It's the zoo med one btw. Thanks in advance!

You don't need a special "reptile basking bulb" to provide heat. A regular incandescent house light bulb or GE halogen porch spot will do the same job and probably cost less. Like any heat producing bulb, make sure you have a fixture that can handle the wattage (start off with lower watt bulbs and work up if it isn't getting warm enough), and check your temps at the basking perch when you set up the new one. If the temp goes too high you can move the fixture farther from the cage mesh.
