Darn bee!

Well I could not move quick enough when this stupid bee landed a foot away from Old Wip Lash. Sure enough he ate it from a foot away. Hope he doesn't get sick. I was hoping he spit it out but nope all gone.

Last summer my panther at two yellow jacks and he's still fine.

I'm sure your guy will be ok too.

shoot maybe I need to resort to bees and wasps because my cham is not eating his crickets or superworms right now! I woulda thought that they could sting them in their throat or something if they eat them.

oh wow really? ud think that theyd be sick or stung from it? what about the singers in bees? they keep pumping out poison for a few hours after they are lodged in the skin. But i guess that would apply if you got stung then right?

Your guy should be fine. When I kept panthers I would house them outside in cages with wide mesh. Wasps and hornets would be attracted to the cages when I watered them. My guys would eat them all the time.

I kinda figured he would be fine. After all in nature I'm sure they eat some odd creatures. Thanks for the peice of mind though.

I was wondering the same thing today if my panther would be o.k. if he so happened to eat a bee since he was in pursuit of eating a few in the grass when he climbed down from a ficus tree I had him on. I'm sure he would be fine if I caught some bees and took the stingers off but i wasn't going to even chance my life since i'm allergic to bees stings....

oh gosh! D: really? i wish i knew that they arent super harmful. we had a Wasps nest by our A/C a week ago about 50 of them plus about 100 pupae
of course i would never try that D:

The sun changes animals attitudes very quickly. I had bearded dragons that had instant attitude changes as soon as they went outside. Mild to wild very quickly!!

I know of a woman who feeds bees regularly...she pulls the stingers off those that have them.
