Dark tongue

,Panther hasn't been eating very well noticed today his tongue is dark in the back,. Any idea what that is? It's kind of black ish

It will also help us help you if you can answer the following husbandry questions. The tongue isn't going to be all one single color. The muscle tissue is darker than the glandular tissue at the tip.

If he continues to not eat I would get him to a qualified vet and let them check it out.

I have an appointment on Friday. I am hoping he will start eating before then. He eats a little.

What did the vet say? My Panther had a similar issue. Vet said early MBD. Panther passed shortly after. We had done everything the vet said and had our cage in alignment with standards but he just wouldn't swallow.
