Dark skin all the time

Hello! I have a female veiled chameleon named Kiwi that is about a 3-5 months old now. Her enclosure is about 3.5 feet tall, has plants, water, food, but her skin is always very dark until she goes to sleep. I think she may be unhappy, and I'm not sure what I could change to make her habitat much better. Any advice would be helpful! If you need photos, I can post those when requested.

Posting photos of your Veiled and your enclosure would be helpful
