How many of you have panther chams, that when at rest are just basicly dark green with dark bars?? My Ernie is a Sambava Ambilobe cross and doesnt show much colors during the basking daytime hours. When he sleeps he looks awsome.... but there too he looks completely blue bar ambi. Dont see any Sambava in him yet but he is only 4 1/2 -5 months old.

They change quite a lot over time. How he looks now is not how he's likely to look even 6 months from now.

Here he is cruising his new cage and 1 I just took of him sleeping thru the screen

my sambava is dark green with dark bars most of the time. https://www.chameleonforums.com/romeo-blendin-scenery-75313/
I just love panthers that have so much green, like your Romeo. I still like seeing all those multi colored's though, but there's just something about a almost solid green panther :p. Like the other day I seen an adult Ambanja, that all but killed me not to be able to get. He was a green on green WC with a light red speckling over him, drool, but was $400 :(. If you haven't seen one like this check out Rainey at FL Chams...he's got more red bars than green, but he is the closest looking in coloration to the other Ambanja that I mentioned. My mind is about to explode now after talking about these two chams

Here is his usual look.... just took this pic a bit ago
