dark all the time?

ive noticed that my little guy has been dark colors the last few days. i cleaned his cage yesterday and fixed a few things. the temperatures in his cage are 83 and his basking spot is at 91. the humidity right now is 53%. he is a male veiled about or around 4 to 5 months. any ideas? thanks for any help or comment

Not sure my veiled does that too sometimes. i know they get darker when there cold sometimes to help attract heat but that doesnt sound like the problem.

They can be funny when you move stuff around in their vivs, maybe he is just a tad stressed

how old is he? if he is still very young 91 might be a little high....

ok ill lower the temperatures but i had it at 87 and he was still black. i thought he was cold so i made it a little warmer for him. i will lower it again and see what happens
