Dangers of feeding silkworms!!

Of course, one of the most fascinating things about chameleons is the way they eat. We all love to watch our chams eat.--So yesterday I decided to pick up a few silkies as snacks for my veiled. I put one on a vine just a few inches away from her and I sat maybe 12 inches away watching the 'show'. Well my cham took the silkworm within seconds throwing its tongue with deadly accuracy and pulling it back into its mouth--and then--POP! silkworm guts all over my face!! blehhh! A rookie mistake on my part. Next time i'll stand back.

:p:D THATS WORMTASTIC!!!
TOO FUNNY....BUT HEY AT LEAST YOU KNOW WHAT THE WORM ATE...JUST ANOTHER SOUCRE OF FRESH VEGGIES OR IN THIS CASE "MULLBERRY LEAVES":p

At first when I saw the name of the thread, I was like "Oh no, now what?" cause I feed my cham silks all the time.! So I was glad to find out you got squirted in the face! just kidding! I always turn away if I hand feed cause I just cannot look at that thing being eaten!
