Dangerous Breeze ?

So I've brought Rescue Rex into my bedroom to be quarantined from my other Cham till his health gets up , now I am used to my window being opened for air always .... If I kept his heat lamp on over night would opening my window be ok??? Clearly if its cold I'd shut it myself ..

Just enough to break my sweat really.. More or so a breath of fresh air.. Ever since I was a kid I always had the window open. Mind you if its a cold day out then no, I wouldn't even keep it open for myself ... The bed is right under the window so I would only need it open a crack.. The guy at the pet store said a small breeze could kill them

I have heard this before about the breeze thing.
I don't know 100% for sure how true it is, but I for one don't believe it

I know the rain forests of Madagascar and S. Africa do not get much wind
as the plains, but if not for some wind, they would not have evolved their
"leaf walk".
Short answer, use your own common sense and be comfortable

The breeze myth is unequivocally, undeniably, 100% bullnonsense.

A breeze, or even a stronger wind, will not in any shape or form harm your chameleon by itself. Obviously a hurricane might be a little harder to tolerate, but typical daily wind is harmless.

I have right now 6 chameleons sitting on my balcony, full time, not 50 yards from the beach, and there is always an ocean breeze blowing through. Not only have they not died from the wind but they are doing phenomenal in the Florida sunshine.

Additionally, unless it's getting below 60-50*F at night you will not need to keep a light on for heat at all. They do really well with a drop in temperatures at night.

Awesome, I can't sleep without some cool air.. I mean I would for his health.. But obviously owning a cham I check on him like crazy and am full aware of his temperatures
