Can someone explain me what dos Dam's Sire meaning?

I believe a sire is a male panther chameleon. A dam is a female. A dam's sire is the male the female mated with. I'm no expert though!e

Actually, the dam’s sire is the father of that female. Think of dam as mom and sire as dad. So if you are seeing pics of a chameleon’s lineage the sire would be the father and the dam’s sire would be the maternal grandfather.

Dam's Sire is important only because combined with sire's appearance it is the best way to predict color development in the offspring... and then nature laughs.
