Custom Leo enclosure!!!

I'm gonna make a small leapord gecko enclosure about the size of a 20-28 gallon made of wood and screen to allow for less humidity as I live in va. I'm pretty excited. One thing I noticed is I really like making new enclosures lol maybe I could make it bioactive? Idk I'll make it cool and update the thread tm

I’d be a bit cautious about using screen for leos. They can climb and some will glass surf, so there would be a risk for their little claws getting stuck in screen. Maybe some clear acrylic would be better. I’m in Florida near the coast and keep my leos in glass with no humidity problems. I also have them bioactive. Have you seen my pics of my Leo tanks?

Geckos can climb wood as easily as screen or glass (comes from having both claws and sticky feet).

I've found glass to be less expensive than plexi/acrylic, but there is that pesky breaking hazard.
IDK how tempered/safety glass compares to plexi, but worth pricing, IMO.
Get LOTS of quotes; I've found up to 300% difference in glass quotes.
