my first post im kinda new here, iv had a cham for about 8 mounths tho
thanks to my dad for the idea 'thanks pops!'

supplys

* water bottle( anything 2 litter soda bottle works great)
*a fish air tube valve thing 2-4$ @ petstores (multi vale ones are the best if u plan to use this to water plants and drip ur cham or multi cadges)
*air tubeing (get 2x as much as u think u will need its cheap, saves a trip )
also small t junctions are nice to have
* something to seal the bottle(silicone sealent ect)

basicly get a hot nail or drill bit to poke a hole in the bottom of ur bottle( low on the side if u wanna set it down, bottom if u wanna hang it from something make sure the hole is slightly smaller then the tubeing so its hard to get in , it holds the tube steady while the sealent drys, and it will hold most of the water in to begin with. id sudgest goin very small and testing to see if water flows thru the tube, then letting it dry compleaty before goin on

stick a few inchest of tube in the hole, use sealent to seal, only use it on the outside ( trying to keep chemicals away from ur pet) let it dry for days at least if not a week *warning if not u could kill ur pet *

iv been useing this for a few mounths now havnt had any problems the flow control is great i can get it to drop a drop every second or slow it down to once ever like 7 sec, very nice for something so easly made

Btw the cadge is a pygmy cadge

yes theres 2 valves on that one its kinda hard to see there black and the nossles for the tubeing is black and are about the same spots in the pictures haha the flow was turned off

BTW i just got my first veild cham today @ 3pm

hey I combined the plans of my system with the plans of your system and come up with a good idea

instead of using the valve, which works good, you can also just go straight from the bottom of the res bottle, poke your hole with tubing

and to adjustable drip heads, this way you can cut the cost out of buying the valve and its a lot less work.

just to remember its gravity fed so there has to be a small hole in the cap of your res bottle, and your res bottle has to be positioned higher than your dripper head

Question for you guys. My hubby made all our dripprs. The problem is, they always seem to come unglued. He is not dummy and i know he has tried at least 3 differnt kinds. What are you guys using? And have you had problems with the thinnnieee coming unglued?

well i used 'GE ultra silicone 2' i think it was(laying around) and i let it dry for a realy long time first, id also sudguest makein sure the hole for the tube is smaller then the tube it self so its tight( its silicone tubeing so it can flex) try to run water before sealing it, you shouldnt have much leak in it. let dry then seal it, also moveing the tube around near the seal could work it lose, its why i used my valve on the bottle so it whoudlnt move at all during unhookings ect. i whould probly use hot glue tho it sounds like it whoudl be less toxic(as dank sudgested)
