Hello,
My name is chris. I have a female veiled cham that was born about july 7/07. I am trying to build a custom cage for her, but need tips and hints. Any pics or ideas will help. thank you
As shown, the fence is not a barrier, it is attached to the inside of the cage to keep chameleons off the walls if it is screenm or to offer more climbing area if they are solid walls.
i see now my mistake it is on the inside of where a solid wall is so the cham can climb more. Thank you very much. I am in hawaii right now and jacksons are 20$ each there wild here. Thought i should tell someone. lol but thanx for the help if anyone has pics of finished or working on cages. that would be great i have seen some on chamforums but i need to see how they made them. im good at wood but scared im going to use something bad for chams. any advice?
Actually in Hawaii, it is legal (With some quick and simple paperwork) to collect up to a maximum of 4 animals from the wild and return to another State with them. Since Jacksons are an invasive species (Introduced in ~1964 I believel...?) that are thriving on several of the islands, it is in some form, a way to keep them in line, as they truely have adapted extremely well.
Thank you. When i asked a airflight attendant they said that i have to register it send it to quarantine, get it checked in once i get to u.s. so i didnt want the cham to go through the process it would be hard on them. do u know any good sites on step by step process to build a cage.
