Curious about outdoor UVB

Hey guys, I have Isabella outside today in her old Enclosure which is somewhat like an exo-terra but instead of all glass it has screen on the top and two sides of the cage. Anyway, she has plenty of shade and i brought her dripper outside with her and was just curious if she is getting any uvb still because that is the primary reason why she is outside. Even though she is not basking directly in the sun is still still getting more than she would in her indoor enclosure? Just curious, thank you!

I think glass filters out the UVB, but I don't know to what degree. I'd be interested to know.

I also had the same question about keeping them in the shade. I think there would be a difference in the amount of UVB exposure because of the light being intercepted by leaves, etc. but, I'm not sure. Let's see what the others have to say :D

Well she is up towards the top screen more than anything so the glass isn't really affecting it I believe. But thank you for the idea :)

If my memory serves, which it doesn't always for numbers, the sun reads something like this:
In full sun: 200-300+ (depending on area)
In shade: 100+

The screen filters out a percent of it, and glass filters out most of it. But if the cage is mostly screen then she's bound to be getting more than she would under her artificial bulb.
