Cup feeding

i cup feed my veiled chameleon and i usually place the cup midway up hes cage so he finds it. Would he find hes food if i place the cup on the ground ??

It's all good It's just hard to follow a conversation and give help when it's spread out between many threads.

I place my cups on the ground sometimes and my cham sits from a low hanging vine and picks off wiggly feeders in the cup. He should be able to find it especially if he watched you put the cup in.

should there be food in the cage for the chameleons to feast at all times or only at feeding times ?
