cup feeding?

i just tried something with minion...
i had originally thought that putting food in the
same place every day made sense.
but today i was thinking, in the wild they have
to hunt for food.
so i put a dish with some butter and meal worms down
by his hibiscus. it took all of 10 minutes for him to go down
and clean the plate.
so could the best "cup feeding" involve moving the cup around?

I thought about putting one down on the floor but Waldo never goes down that far. Maybe if there were worms he would
