How does every one feel about cross breeding pardalis locals? I don’t see or read much about people doing that and was curious if or why people don’t.

It's a hot topic or has been. There are some popular crosses out there that are considered designer. The problem is if they are represented as being pure locales and get mixed back in and ruin pure locale lines.

If they are going to be pets and not bred, then it's fine in my opinion. The problem occurs when you sell them as pure and they are not. Plus, with females you can't tell their locale, so a less-than-scrupulous seller could pass them off as pure.

This is all very good info, I guess I never thought of the as pure breed or mutt lol. By the way JacksJill that is a VERY beautiful mutt lol. I also never thought about females and not really being able to tell there local. I guess it’s best to keep them pure bread to keep the bloodlines right.
