Thanks for sharing that! That is amazing! I think anyone who loves reptiles has experienced this bond on some level. This is an extreme example. Without spoiling anything, I wish the best for Chito's family!

Uggggh I KNOW right? I feel like reptiles get a bad rep on socialization, but you're right for anyone who has a reptile or likes them it is usually always because of that one reptile that just "got it" lol.
I think I seen in the news that he is missing. I cannot remember if it was him but it was someone who swam with crocs. I seen it in news maybe 2-3 months ago.
That's true he was shot in the head and I think that does play a big part in the croc being different, but still that's still pretty freaking cool that someone in the world can say "I used to have a crocodile friend for like 20 years no bd. I chewed up his food for him and we wrestled. What? This isn't normal for you?"
Lol. I don't know why that struck me as funny. But I do think this was definitely a concentrated situation. Because he was shot when he was relatively small and depended solely on the guy to get his meals for a very long time. It was almost a bit like being rehatched on a different playing field i suppose.
Also I don't know if any of you noticed but when the croc was with the guy his eyes were always fully circular. I thought that was interesting because I thought they always had slivers for eyes.
