I have decided that the smartest way to address this is by creating a densely planted rubbermaid tub for the female. This will make it easy for me to collect the eggs as well as giving her a secure, private environment.

That's a very cool and interesting solution. How were you going to have it? You could put a screen on top of it and secure it. Pics would be nice

I'm liking this species more and more looking at them. I'm interested in getting a baby, but I need to do a little more research.

The containers I use for this sort of thing (I've done it with pygmys) are like the one pictured. (there are roaches in this one)
It's easy to use a Dremel Tool to cut out sections of the container that can be replaced with screen.
