Ok so I'm kinda worried about there being so many plants in my chams cage and was wondering if that should be a concern, like him not being able to find the food or the food hiding. Should I use a spare reptarium for feeding instead?

Ill try it again tomorrow i know when I take them out and feed them I use tupperware and they eat of of it fine

Sounds stressful for your cham. My cages are packed with plants and I have not had a problem. Usually the crickets end up on the screen, climbing towards the light and thats where they get picked off.

Oh, gosh...I think the more plants the better...your guy will have fun finding his prey.

To be honest I hate doing it cause I feel like I'm forcing them to eat and I feel bad but I have some holes that I will be covering so I can start feeding them free ranged

I know you have a large cage for him. Maybe a combination of free range and cup feeding may work well in your case.
