I am looking for 1000 crickets i do not want to spend more than 20 dollars total shipping included i need a good website please help.

I got them for that much at herp foods but they have the worst service. I really dont recommend it. It took them forever and when I called and told them my name is Lindsay, they said ha Lindsay Lohan. Hardly professional. Check out the mulberry farms site.

Look at site sponsors. Mulberryfarms, Ghanns, and lllreptile (off the top of my head) are good.

Is there a reptile store near you?

I feel quite confident I could walk into my local reptile store and tell them I want 1,000 crickets but can only spend $20 and they'd take care of me. I know that they post pricing like 15 crickets/dollar, but my experience is that if I say "I need $3 worth of medium sized cricket" I get between 75 and 150 crickets...more if the store owner is there handling the crickets. Once I said "I need $2 worth of medium sized crickets" and he handed me a bag he'd just been putting together that must have had 200 crickets in it.

I don't know where you are, so don't know if it's feasible to just walk into a reptile store. If it is, I'd give that a try.

Face it, the big expense for a store in a cricket sale is the time the paid employee devotes to it...so, the quantity of crickets isn't that big a deal.

Good luck!

cricketsonline.com 18 bucks 1000 crickets to your door. I use them and their customer service blows, when you order they ship same day but they don't send you a confirmation so just be waiting by the door two days later. You have to bug the hell out of them for your tracking info but their crickets are really clean and they even throw a couple heatpacks in there. They have the best price/shipping.

I thought I would post this below as a lot of people think that if you live on the east coast, or you live in the south east, and order from us, your crickets travel across the entire US from San Diego. Not the case with us. Over the years, we have narrowed down what we believe to be the three best cricket farms in the US, and we use all 3 to ship our crickets to our customers. We just happen to be cheaper than if you bought directly from the farm. Same quality, coming from that farm, but through us, with our customer service (open 7 days a week unlike cricket farms). Sorry for the cheap promo, but worth mentioning :) Take a look:

We use Bassetts Cricket farm for our west coast shipments. We have used pretty much every west coast distributor, and just recently made this switch. Quality stuff and consistent. We use Ghanns to ship to our south east customers. So if you live in Florida, and are paying more than $19.95 for a 1000 shipped, check us out. $19.95 for 1000 crickets including shipping directly from us. We use Top Hat as our mid-west and upper east coast supplier. They do a fantastic job not only with the quality, but getting stuff shipped to super cold places during the winter, and very hot places during the summer.

Our prices including shipping (there is a winter pack fee of $1.95 added during cold months like right now)

250 Crickets - $16.95 shipped
500 Crickets - $17.95 shipped
1000 Crickets - $19.95 shipped
2000 Crickets - $32.95 shipped

We also offer mealworms, supers, was and giant, along with tons of other feeders.

We have been selling crickets for a very, very long time, and have seen the quality through the years from certain suppliers, and lack of it from others. If you don't choose us, I highly recommend you chose one of the three farms I mentioned that we use. They are flat out the best.
