How do you keep the crickets alive any tricks/tips?

I just give mine food (fruits and vegetables), water, and a place to hide. I keep them in a plastic container.

If I want to have a diy cricket cage what do you recommend?

I have a small stash near the cage and a big box in a fridge. this keeps them from making too much sound. you have to make sure that its not too cold or they will die. feed veggies and provide water

Just use a big bin. Cut out most of the lid and replace with screen.

I actually keep them in my Chms old 16" x 16" x 30" from when she was little. It's helped keep them alive much longer for me, I think it's the good air flow.

Cricket needs heat to survive,always house your crickets in a container kept between 80° and 90° depending on your weather location.
