Crickets not gut loading?

I've noticed the last couple batched I put in my gut loading cricket keeper container don't really eat the greens I have for them, I have dandelion leave and some kale and a piece of carrot with repashy gut load sprinkled over them, also have some gel for hydration and some cricket feed, anyone have any tricks to get those little guys to eat up? Should I hold off on feeding until they eat more?

Please note that this is a fairly new issue and the previous crickets ate the gut load contents, just looking for some expirienced keepers tricks or procedures

Might want a variety. I feed mine a variety of Flukers, Cricket Crack, Bug Burger (dry), dehydated milk, spirulina, alfalfa, flax seed, bee pollen, yeast, etc... sometimes they fill up and don't eat as much for a day or so, then completely wipe out the food again. Trying to read a cricket's mind, might make yours explode.

I only feed my crickets a variety of wet gutload items such as leafy greens (collards, mustard, escarole/endive) and fruits (papaya, apple). I have as much as 100 crickets or so to begin with since I only have one chameleon and it never looks like they eat it. I think I'm going to try something like cricket crack so I can add some dry as well.

My question... do you just sprinkle dry gutload on top of wet? Or do dry one day and wet the next? Thanks!

In my cricket bin I offer dry food on a paper towel, so it's easier to clean up. And I sprinkle mixed veggies and salad around their bin so they don't have much competition for food. Also, I leave a moist paper towel in their for them to drink off. By having numerous places to eat I think the crickets feel more safe and can eat more in peace.

i have between 1000-2000 crickets at any given time. i feed mine cricket crack kale, collard greens, carrots, apples and dandelion leaves. not all at once, but i try to alternate what i feed. if there is no greens for them to eat they will destroy the dry food. I also keep a carolina cricket water jug in with them. Not many of mine die until they go in my cages with the chams.

Try removing the gel. If the crickets are get their moisture from the gel, they have no need to eat the greens. Thristy crickets will mow through carrots and kale to get to the moisture inside the root and leaves.

I do notice they go for the gel, il try removing it and see how it goes thanks!

Good suggestion. I have the water crystals In a very shallow dish Right next to the leafy greens and fruits. Would the majority agree that it's not necessary to have both? They seem to not really go after either. Would 100 crickets plow through just as well? I have roaches and they actually seem to consume everything.

Is it bad if I feed old cricket food to my Dubia? Becuse I've
Done that before but realize it could be bad if the crickets contaminated it.
