Crickets left in cage

SO I have heard mixed things about leaving crickets in the cham cage all of the time. I have heard that you can not do this because the crickets will all bite the chameleon and then I have heard that only the BLACK crickets will bite the chameleon and that the brown ones like the ones they sell at pet co (I know.. I don't even like to say the word) Our sponsors also sell them Just used pet co because everyone loves to hate them but everyone knows them. Any way... I have heard that these brown crickets will not bite the cham.....
I need to know!! Can I leave the brown ones in the cage all the time? Cage is rather large and lots of vegitation so if I want the cham to be able to hunt I will have to put a lot of them in so that he can find some... Won't be able to find them all to take them out...

(edit) Just in case any really new person is thinking about going to petco for crickets.... DO NOT. They are mal nutritioned and so they die verry quickly and they overcharge by a LOT. Go to mulberry or another sponsor.

All crickets bite as far as I know. There have been people on here who have the proof that leaving them in the cage at night is not a good thing. There was a pygmy cham who had its nose chewed off by crickets. They are very small chams though and that was the worse case I have ever seen. There was a member on here a week or so ago who had a meal worm biting on her cham at night but her cham was sick. I say to be safe, just don't do it. If you think crickets are hiding out. Throw some gutload at the bottom of the cage and that should smoke them out!!!
