Crickets breeding instead of buying???

I second that...Lobsters are a PAIN in the butt. Way too fast, way too smelly, and too prolific...with babies that are TOO small!

reading all the comments it seems like its kind of a mixed review. So what i might do is buy a couple of crickets and jus keep em in soil who knows maybe itll work out. But next time i buy crickets online ill maybe try to get some roaches lol. moms gonna love that. Where do you guys get your crickets from.

I have a cultivar of the normal house cricket that's extremely easy to rear (adults are hypermelanistic) if you'd like to rear crickets. Most people have no trouble keeping these as they are much hardier and don't require high temps.
