So Cletus used to gobble up crickets now hes only going for horn worms and super worms and silks....... wtf..... i have a crap load of crickets that are gut loaded and he just looks at them.......... damn you cletus eat those crickets !!!!!!!!!!:mad::confused::mad::confused::mad::confused::mad:

Any helpful hints..... I was thinking about putting BBQ sauce on them maybe that will get him going again ! lol

thats because you spoiled him.

It's like a kid wth dessert.. why eat dinner when you know you get dessert first?

dont offer any other bugs to him for a few days.only offer crickets, or let himgo a few days with no food,t hen offer only crickets.

it should get him back on them.

Have you tried going a few days without food and then trying crickets? This sometimes works.

I had a bearded dragon once who would eat dubia/crickets and then I tried supers when she got big enough. She NEVER ate dubia/crickets again. Only worms like silks, horns and supers. Hopefully this doesn't happen to you!

haha damn the spoiled cham he was eating crickets all the time with super and silks and horns i had to give him the silk and horns before they died..... i didnt have enuff food for the silks and i didnt wanna waste my money on them. but ill let him sit on the crickets for a little bit and see how he does. but he needs to eat because hes on baytril for URI. his next dose is at 6pm.....

You may need to wait until his treatment is over then to try to make him eat crickets again. Hope he is getting better!

Glad to hear you have a spoiled cham!!! Cletus is playin' you :D. After a little while you can stop feeding him all those goodies and hope he goes for the crickets soon before you have even more .

In my experience when i have a hunger strikers for a certain staple feeder I will up the temperature so they will be hungrier for whatever is offered. It is just an alternative to not feeding for a few days.
