Cricket shortage?

I tried ordering from my usual online supplier today and their site said they had "production issues" and wouldn't have any for about three weeks. Since I'm fairly new to ordering crickets online, I'm wondering if this is this a sign of things to come?

I'd like to find a supplier that has a consistent supply for a decent price (including shipping), and have been happy with what I've received so far from this particular supplier, but not sure what "production issues" could mean. Any thoughts?

I ended up ordering from a different source, but for twice the price.

Thanks!

I sure hope it's not the cricket virus again. I order from Armstrong and they have a plastic breeding facility and can clean it properly and never get the virus like the farms that have wood facilities. They may not be the cheapest but they are always there with excellent feeders.

Hey Jann, it wasn't Armstrong, but it was a major supplier from my neck of the woods. I'm hoping it was just a major run on medium crickets, but they didn't have any available, not even pinheads. Just thought it was a little weird. Then again, it just now got hot for this area, so maybe they had a big die off. Not sure.
