hey all,
i've decided to get back into cricket breeding. after watching ghann's on dirt jobs, it has inspired me to start up again! i am in no means planning on starting some sort of cricket business! lol... have you seen the episode? its insane! 20-25 million crickets on the farm at all times (cycles)!!! nuts! its on youtube if you didnt get to catch it on air.
anyways, anybody have a good recipe meant for breeding crickets? dog food doesnt do it for them in my opinion.
any of you try a mixture of rabbit food (consists of lots of different seeds and grains) mixed with chicken feed and cornmeal. it sounds like it would work. any input would be greatly appreciated.
Ghann's formula is madd money lol... but their crickets are the best by far in my opinion. i have purchased crickets from all the companies.. i think... around 9 or 10...
thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
I read a nice article on NYworms and it sounds legit...
