*** cricket & dubia wet gut-load + dry gut load help ***

I've been reading a bunch of posts on here and i haven't really found a good gut-load formula. Or a post that literally shows you everything you need to know on one simple page. I'm very detailed oriented and also a visual learner so i need super simple straight to the point instructions haha. Also posting pictures of your gut-load set up would help allot!

I just watched a video on youtube and someone blended a bunch of veggies, put them in ice trays, and froze them. Storing the gut-load was really easy and saves your veggies from going bad so i really liked this idea. Not sure if you're suppose to thaw out the gut-load cube first or do you drop it in frozen? Anyone else do this?

Here's my gut-load formula:

WET BLENDED GUT-LOAD:
Yams, Apples, Carrots, Collard Greens, Red Lettuce, Mustard Greens, Oranges w/ Peel, Oat Bran, & Wheat Bran.

DRY GUT-LOAD:
Cricket Crack or -
(would i need other sources such as oat bran, wheat bran, fish food flakes, and dry cat food? Which would all be blended as well.)

WATER/HYDRATION:
Flukers Cricket Quencher (Blue/no calcium) OR Cricket Crack Water Crystals?

*Also could someone give me a plan? Such as when to feed the roaches/crickets dry/wet gut-load? Would i do wet 1st week, dry 2nd week, 3rd week wet, 4th week dry?* And also what do you guys use for food dishes? I personally cut up a waterbottle, melted the edges and sanded it down. Also seen people use giant glad wear containers that the chams jump in.

Thanks Chameleon Forums!

Cat food is a no no. Too high in protein, if you can stick to senior dog food.

A simple mix would be:
1 cup of steel cut oatmeal (or instant if you are cheap)
1 cup of wheat bran
1 cup of Cheerios
1 cup of dog food
1 cup of alfalfa hay
1 cup of rolled barley (if you can find a feed store, pearled isnt very good)
I sub with 1 extra cup of dry rap bug burger.
Then you can add some of the fringe exotics as you see fit, like pollen, raw sugar(for dubia), and dried weeds (i mean dandelions and clover)

As for cubed almost spoiled frozen veg, its throw in frozen, at night, throw out 36 hours later in the morning, stuff goes bad fast and wont last 2 days.

water= get plain water crystals from lowes/home depot. A $6 bag will make GALLONS.

Always have wet/dry/crystals at any time. Just make sure to only have enough wet to eat in a 1-2 day period.

For a feeding dish( assume for feeding cham). You can start with gladware or a steel dog dish if the cham will eat horz at the bottom of the cage. Mine wont so i got a half gallon jug, cut 1 side off, and glued some screen to it.

I've made my own bug burger, I use fresh kale, collard greens, sweet potatoes, and tortoise pellets. add that to unflavored gelatin mix, refrigerate and cut into pieces, it will feed and water at the same time

How long can you store it in the refrigerator without it spoiling?
