I must have a leaky cage, because I am always finding loose crickets ( most than the few which always get out when feeding)
However I invested in a portable computer vacuum and I am still looking to improve its function..but it does work in catching loose crickets especially when I can get them cornered in the crevice of a right angle. I am looking at adding some sort of flanged adaptor to the end to catch them more easily..maybe a breast pump attachment? I don't know yet..
I will take a video of it when I can find someone to help me. I just caught about 16 loose crickets in about 1 minute..and oh yes, they do not get hurt getting sucked up in the vacuum..they are unscathed..that is until I empty the catch into one of my cages!
