Crested gecko

Follow the guidelines at jbscresties.com for care, and watch her videos too. Think they are around $60 from pet stores, or you could try your local reptile stockist or one of the breeders here? Several of tge site sponsors have them too. They are very beautiful and much easier than chameleons! Though so is pretty much anything...

Join PangeaReptile.com it's a forum just like this and it's great for information. You will get tons of help there as well and they have great site sponsor like the CF does! I have one and I'm getting a proven breeding pair Saturday. :D

I'm embarrassed to admit I used to think crested geckos were ugly looking.
Then my boyfriend got a trio, and i'm absolutely in love with them!

Ditto! :b They are some of the best reptile pets you can own. Really an eye opener. I started with semi-aquatic turtles and then went to Chameleons and got a few geckos here and there.

Here are the two I will be bringing home hopefully this weekend.

I thought the same too! Four years ago I was going to get a lizard of some sort, probably a crestie, but when I saw an adult I really didn't like the tail, so I got my female chameleon instead, lol! Fast forward a couple of years and I fell in love with a baby crestie who I named Splat! Now I have him and his girlfriend Buffie the cricket slayer, lol!

Tell my girl she's ugly, she won't believe you!

As everyone has said, super easy reptiles! No light/heat needed, temps over 80* for too long can stress out and even kill them. Baby food is NOT sufficient, though some people will tell you it is. I have a female that I rescued, fed nothing but baby food till I got her, and she has a curve in her spine near her pelvis due to MBD. Repashy is great, easy to mix, and contains all they need nutrient wise. Some people will say they don't drink out of a dish, but they will-all of mine do. Mist a couple times a day, allow to dry out between misting.

Yes! I just got home about an hour ago and they are great pets! The female is all ready gravid from a previous breeding session, so I should have eggs soon. :D
